Gladney Adoptee Service Trips

The mission of the Gladney sponsored Teen/Student Service Trip is to provide opportunities for adopted young adults to connect on a personal level while volunteering at Gladney sponsored orphanages.

The time in-country consists of giving your teen/student an opportunity to benefit those less fortunate, while creating lifelong bonds with fellow Gladney adoptees. Under the direction of Gladney staff, our fast-paced itinerary always includes 4-5 days of love/labor filled days of volunteering at a Gladney supported orphanage.

The trips include several days devoted to activities that serve to increase cultural awareness and an appreciate of the great outdoors. Activities have included bike tours, zip-lining through the jungle, white water rafting, tour of the Panda reserves, mountain biking and mountain climbing.

One team member reported "Having the privilege of going to Colombia to devote some of my time to the orphans has given me a much larger world perspective. We were able to play with amazing, sweet children who have so much less than we do. I loved making all of the kids feel as special as they truly are.
