Possible 2013 Gladney Adult Adoptee Service Trip!
posted by admin on Thu, 07/26/2012 - 18:12
Gladney has been given the opportunity to partner with HELPS International to form a team and travel to Guatemala to install ONIL stoves for the indigenous people of Guatemala. These stoves reduce smoke and burns, in addition to reducing wood usage. Gladney was thrilled to hear of this incredible opportunity and immediately thought of our Adult Adoptee group, as many of you have expressed an interest in the possibility of joining such a team.
We are considering scheduling this week-long trip, the last of July/first of August 2013. The cost will be about $1900 and will include hotel, meals, in-country transportation, cost of the stoves, training to install the stoves –but does not include transportation to and from Guatemala. A Gladney staff member will be joining this team.
