Gladney currently has several projects we are working on at this time including the purchasing, shipping and installation of several pieces of playground equipment at the Gladney Foster Care Center for the older children and at the orphanages some of you may have visited. (See photos of one of the playgrounds to be replaced.) We have received pricing on five playgrounds. The cost, including shipping, will run in the neighborhood of $75,000. Take a look at our fundraising thermometer to see how much more we need to raise. In the container, we will be including other humanitarian aid (educational toys, clothing, books, etc.) that we will purchase and ship along with this equipment, depending on how much money is raised above and beyond the needed amount.
