Brighter Futures For Children - Ethiopia
Gladney's humanitarian aid efforts are far-reaching for Ethiopian orphans, who in 2008 made up 25% of the total international adoptions handled by Gladney. This relatively new adoption program - in operation since 2006 - is providing such basic needs as computers, textbooks, library books, teacher salaries, equipment and appliances to multiple programs, and has several large projects in progress.

Playgrounds are being constructed in four different locations, and Gladney is assisting in larger efforts to build capacity for orphanages and cover expenses for serious medical care of fragile infants and children whose needs can not otherwise be met. Emergency funding for natural disasters also has been raised through Gladney's efforts and passed directly on to the orphanages in regions where help is most needed.

Direct Your Financial Support
Gladney's Brighter Futures for Children Fund provides an international children's aid framework for advancing our mission through donor-supported programs — to improve the lives of these at-risk children and help alleviate disturbing orphanage conditions in Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America.
