 Gladney Family Association is:
It is families supporting families - people of all ages and in all stages of parenting. Many share similar adoption experiences and all share a love of family.
It is families who believe in and promote domestic and international adoption in their local communities - through their schools, places of worship, among friends and strangers.
It is families who are grateful for their children and thankful for the people who came before them who made The Gladney Center possible.
It is families who want other couples who share similar hopes and dreams to experience the joy of parenting. They organize fundraisers to benefit The Gladney Center to ensure that others continue to have adoption and parenting opportunities.
It is families from all of Gladney's many adoption programs - domestic, international, ABC and New Beginnings.
Gladney Family Association (GFA) Membership is:
Fun - Family-friendly functions and special events,
Fulfilling - Opportunities to share, educate and raise much-needed funds,

From Diapers to Dating and Beyond
From diapers to dating, from terrible twos to treacherous teens - these are the joys of parenthood. As children make life's journey from cradle to college and beyond, parents do their best to raise them well, struggling to make informed decisions, hoping for lasting health and happiness. As members of the GFA, families do not walk this path alone - they have the support of others who share similar life experiences.
The benefits of Gladney Family Association participation include:
- Adoptive parents receive consistent support and encouragement, from the time they are approved and waiting until the children reach adulthood.
- Adults receive parenting and post adoption information and support.
- Children develop friendships with other adopted children and discover that adoption is not uncommon.
- GFA groups sponsor fun and exciting social, cultural and family events.
- The GFA provides opportunities for other children and families to experience adoption by generating funds to significantly contribute to the Gladney Annual Fund, which supports the ongoing expenses of The Gladney Center.
- Families develop lifelong friendships.
Adoption Touches Lives
Adoption touches all aspects of family life. That is why GFA members may include grandparents, adult adoptees, friends (adoptive families through other agencies) or members of the community who are supporters of adoption.
