China Adoption

In March, 1994, the Gladney Center for Adoption's first internationally adopted child came home to the United States from Shanghai, China. Since that time, Gladney has placed more than 1,000 healthy infants and toddlers with families living in the United States. Over the past several years, adoption from China has emerged as an effective way to make or grow a family.
China's adoption program is formalized and stable. Thousands of healthy infants and toddlers - mostly girls - are available for adoption. China's program is an option for prospective parents in a wide range of age groups.
