Supervisor, Residential Services
The Gladney Center for Adoption, a premier non-profit adoption agency, seeks a professional, highly motivated candidate to oversee day-to-day operations of Gladney’s Maternity home (GRO). Responsibilities include recruitment, selection, development and training of residential staff, supervising residential services to ensure efficiency and satisfaction for Gladney clients, communicating and coordinating services cross departmentally in a constructive manner, resolution of client conflicts, and ensuring compliance with Gladney policies and State licensing standards. Ideal candidate must be organized, flexible, and have the ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with other departmental staff including Birth Parent Services, Admissions, and Legal Services. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Licensed Child Care Agency Administrator’s (LCCAA) license through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TXDFPS) must be maintained. Residential program experience a plus! Full-time position, Salary + benefits. EOE.

Director, Major Gifts
The Gladney Center for Adoption, a premier non-profit adoption agency, seeks a self-motivated professional to be a key contributor to Gladney's Development department. Primary responsibilities would include managing a portfolio of primary prospects and soliciting gifts of $10,000 and higher, participating in all aspects of the gift cycle including initiating contacts with potential leadership and major gift donors, developing appropriate cultivation strategies for them, moving potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure, and maintaining stewardship contacts with donors. Focus areas will include securing support for Gladney-wide priorities in key departmental areas such as birth parent services, adoptive parent services, waiting child and post adoption. Five to seven years successful experience in major or planned gift fundraising preferred. Must have successful experience in making cold calls as well as developing cultivation and solicitation strategies. Travel required. Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred. EOE

Volunteer & Intern Opportunities
Gladney is accepting applications (for our Fort Worth location only) long-term administrative volunteers at the agency and weekend off-campus activity volunteers for our maternity home residents. These positions are located in our Fort Worth, Texas location. Both positions require a background check and three letters of recommendation per licensing requirements.

NOTE: We are now accepting applications for Fall 2016 internships. We currently have Summer 2016 internship openings in Accounting, IT, and Marketing.
We welcome students who want to do their internship at Gladney's Fort Worth Office whether it's in the social work field, accounting, information technology (IT), marketing, public relations, or development. - Complete and submit the Volunteer and Intern Application
- Once your application and questionnaire have been reviewed, you will be contacted to discuss opportunities.
- Due to the high volume of applications received, volunteer applicants will be contacted and invited to attend a volunteer information session. These sessions are held on the first Friday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and on the third Friday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
